BarranquillARTE is over all a contemporary art exhibition that will showcase pieces from a variety of artistic forms of expression,including acrylic, oil and watercolor painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media as well as Furniture Designers. It will takeplace in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia from April 25th to the 28th of 2013.
BarranquillARTE SPECIAL EDITION, is a four days fine art show that will present over 2000 pieces offine and contemporary art for exhibition and sale. The show is one of its kind as it is presented not only as an international platform that will be hosting many collectors,wealthy and selective clients along with some well-known celebrities from LatinAmerica but it also is presented under the umbrella of the most importantevents of Barranquilla is the city has been named the American Capital of Culture for 2013.

The talented artists announced as participating artists by the gallery Art Center Miami at BarranquillArte will be Silvia Grandela, Jee Yoon, Nicolle Cure, Michelle Betancourt, Billy Monsalve-Duffo, Gonzalo Sanchez, Julia Rodriguez, Alfonso Fuentes, Diana Pantoja, Ana Carolina Moreno, Miguel Lopez Salazar, Javier De Aubeyzon, Amparo Garzon. BarranquillARTE is conducting a strict selection of exhibitors and artwork to ensure the high quality and excellence of the Fair. The Selection Committee, comprised of esteemed figures from the international cultural scene, will be responsible for the selection of all pieces to be displayed. It will always maintain a pluralistic approach in terms of the visual trends to be presented and will focus especially on the projects expressing new artistic languages as well as emerging talents.
Art Monaco’s management is in partnership with Barranquillarte; therefore, the show aims to build a strong and solid artistic platform to be presented in an exclusive setting which is the line of the event in the French Riviera.
