Abstract expressionism is an American post–World War II art movement in American painting, developed in New York in the 1940s. It was the first specifically American movement to achieve international influence and put New York City at the center of the western art world, a role formerly filled by Paris.
Caty finds the painting on canvas the best method to express herself. She likes sculpture as well however the sensibility of the paintings in oil caught her attention. The title on each of her artworks tells us only the beginning of the illusionist road to follow within the art piece.
Her artworks are been exhibited in the gallery Art Center Wynwood in Miami with a total success. The center holds a permanent exhibition of her work until June 2014.
