Los Caprichos: Goya & Dalí exhibition in Miami at the Centro Cultural Español
CCE en Miami and U.S. Century Bank present “Los Caprichos: Goya-Dalí” . The opening night will be on September 11th at 8 pm along with the piano concert by Dario Martin.

At this exhibit Dalí shows us a total work of art, consistent with Goya’s thinking, marked by a programmatic and enlightened character that reconciles the multiple sources of knowledge from Baroque tradition, the Classical world and the French Encyclopedists.
The exhibition features 40 original prints, 17 by Goya and 23 by Dalí, inviting us to discover two great masters through intelligence and humor. The exhibition closes on October 30.The opening night will be accompanied by a piano concert at 8 p.m. by Cuban native, Darío Martín, a recent award-winner at the International José Jacinto Cuevas Piano Competition and a student of Maestro Joaquin Achucarro.
He will perform “A Salute to my Native Cuba and our Spanish Roots,” which celebrates the pianist’s unique style and a musical repertoire that references his cultural roots. Dario has won first prizes in many national and international piano competitions in Cuba, Costa Rica, Mexico and the U.S. The most recent awards include First Prize at the José Jacinto Cuevas International Piano Competition in Mexico and the Second Prize in the Coltman Chamber Music Competition in Austin, Texas. He has given solo and chamber music recitals in Mexico, Cuba, Costa Rica, England, Germany and the U.S.On October 9 at 8 p.m. the CCEMIAMI will present a music, video and dance performance inspired by Goya’s etching works: “Suite Caprichos” by Julian Sanz Escalona “Erizonte”, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist, nominated for a Latin Grammy Award for his album Work in Progress; and Javier Escudero “Scud Hero”, composer of soundtracks.
