Parallel art fair RED DOT moves back to Wynwood

Miami Art Week’s hottest show is moving—back to—Miami’s artsiest ’hood. That’s right! The best parallel events to "Miami Art Week" take place in Wynwood Art District

Back in the Wynwood District for the first time since 2015, Red Dot Miami is taking over the iconic Mana Wynwood this Dec. 5–9, 2018. Mana Wynwood Address: 318 NW 23rd St, Miami, FL 33127

An anchor of the Wynwood Arts District thriving artistic and cultural scenes, the Mana Wynwood is the new long-term home of Red Dot Miami Miami.

Art Center Miami returns Shanghai art fair 2018

This coming November 8th 2018, Shanghai Art Fair will take place once again with a selection of talented artists from all over the world. This fair is one of the most important art exhibitions that take place annually in the city of Shanghai, P.R. of China.

From Miami a talented group of artists will join the fair with Art Center Miami’s booth. Each artist in his/her own style will represent Latin American art at the fair with four different medias: Paintings, graphic design, sculpture and photography.

Beijing International Art Expo 2018

Beijing International Art Expo will take place celebrating its 21 anniversary this coming August 30th 2018 until September 2nd. It will once again offer a gorgeous art feast to Chinese and foreign collectors. After more than 20 years of elaborated work, Beijing Art Fair has become the most comprehensive art exhibition in China with the largest volume and the trend of art development.

Art Center Miami returns to Asia with a selected group of contemporary artists to Beijing. Art Center Miami’s artists Ana Moreno, Alejandro Szilagyi, Carlos Tirado & Erion Cha will bring to this exhibition their specially elaborated artworks.

A Silent Auction  by Established Latin American artists will raise funds to support the Seeds of Life Foundation

"MONARCHS Brown and Native Contemporary Artists in the Path of the Butterfly” Exhibition from May 24 –  Aug. 5, 2018
 
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), North Miami will present the group exhibition “Monarchs: Brown and Native Contemporary Artists in the Path of the Butterfly” from May 24 – Aug. 5, 2018. Curated by Risa Puleo, the exhibition features the works of 37 artists who are native to the Americas separated into conceptual categories including indigenous, immigrant and assimilated.

Benefit Auction for Leukemia Lymphoma Society

Last Saturday May 5th 2018 the glamorous Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Miami hosted the annual auction event for Leukemia Lymphoma Society.

This event takes place every year in order to collect funds for this foundation that supports cancer cure, and support for individuals with cancer and their families.
LLS is the largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding research, finding cures and ensuring access to treatments for blood cancer patients.

As part of the silent auction there is an art section with local artists in support of this benefit cause.

May exhibit at Centro Cultural Espanol in Miami

CCEMiami presents the video and photography exhibition Corrientes: Movement With Purpose, inspired by the moving work of Flamenco Dancer, Jesús Carmona. Its grand opening was this past April 26th at 7 p.m.

The exhibition will be on view until May 17th which will close with a special performance by Jesús Carmona and with a live fragment of his show Impetu’s.

Antonio Azzato's "menina sculptures" conquer Madrid

Beautiful "Meninas" sculptures inspired in Velazquez conquer Madrid, Spain. 


The artist Antonio Azzato creates an impressive exhibition in Spain recalling the famous "meninas" from the master Velazquez. This exhibit is a fundraising project with the intent to benefit kids with disability and children with cancer. There will be an upcoming auction of the sculptures this summer 2018 in Madrid.
 
This exhibition has 90 sculptures over the city of Madrid and will be open during summer with a final auction in July.

Gustavo Fernandez finest artworks in SEOUL

Gustavo Fernandez is a talented contemporary artist born in Venezuela in 1973. He is an established modern artist who has a unique style in representing freedom in art. Art Center Miami is proud to represent Mr. Fernandez for the first time in Korea this coming summer 2018.

Hosted once again by the NU Hotel in Downtown Brooklyn, this year Fridge features a tribute to David Bowie coinciding with the exhibition in residence at the Brooklyn Museum.
